Repeat Prescriptions

green_pill_spill

If you have a medical condition which is stable, and the doctor is in agreement, you may be able to obtain a repeat prescription for certain medications.

Once the computer system has been set up you may obtain a repeat prescription by marking clearly the items you require on your prescription counterfoil.  Please allow 2 working days for this service.

Requests for repeat prescriptions should be put in the box provided in reception or mailed to the surgery.  We will return your prescription by post if a stamped addressed envelope is enclosed.  Please ensure any handwritten requests are legible and accurate.

You may also request repeat prescriptions online once you have registered for the service.  Registration is free.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
