Antenatal Clinic

Appointments with the midwife are available, please register online for midwifery services at https://www.badgernotes.net/, or contact the surgery for further assistance.

Asthma

The practice nurses hold asthma reviews at different times during the week.  Please book with reception. 

The aims of an asthma review are to teach people about asthma and to ensure they get the best control of their symptoms by finding the best treatment for them.  If you are asthmatic, you should have an asthma review every year. 

Baby Clinic

Birstall - Friday 9:30 am - 11:30 am (Immunisations Appointment only)

Child Health Checks

Six week checks can be arranged in a baby clinic by appointment subject to the availability

Cervical Smears

Female patients aged between 24 years, 6 months - 65 years and meeting certain criteria will be invited by the national screening service to have a cervical smear.  Please contact the surgery once you have your invitation.

Family Planning

If you wish to discuss any aspect of contraception please make an appointment with the practice nurse.

Holiday Vaccinations

These are organised by the practice nurse. Most vaccines are now available from the practice, but you may need a prescription. Please be aware that we need at least 8 weeks notice before your date of travel to accommodate this service.  Please complete our Travel Form. Forms are available from reception. 

Diabetes

We offer full Diabetic Clinics which are held with the GP specialist, Nurse and Healthcare Assistant. Please book an appointment through reception.

Minor Surgery

We offer a range of minor surgical procedures to treat minor lumps and bumps.  Please see your doctor who will be able to asses your suitability for these treatments.

Smoking Clinic

Giving up smoking is the most important thing smokers can do to stay healthy.  Our nurses run clinics for patients who want to stop smoking.  These sessions aim to provide advice and support.  Please ask a receptionist for further information.
