World Mental Health Day — 10 October 2025

Posted on:

Every year on 10 October, World Mental Health Day reminds us how important it is to look after our mental health and support one another.

This year’s theme, set by the World Federation of Mental Health, highlights the need to support the mental health of people affected by humanitarian emergencies. But it’s also a reminder that mental health matters for everyone, every day.

You’re not alone. If you’re struggling, reaching out is a sign of strength — not weakness. Support is available right here in Kirklees:
✨ Talk to your GP or a member of our team
📞 Call Samaritans on 116 123 (24/7)
📲 Access local support through Kirklees Mental Health Services
💬 Speak to someone you trust — taking the first step can make a difference.

Today is a good reminder to check in on yourself and those around you. 💛
